"We decided that bureaucracies are hard to deal with, not just the government bureaucracies, but health plans as well. Basically, if we have to deal with a stogy bureaucracy we'd rather deal with one that doesn't put profits above keeping people healthy. 

We also don't think that there's anyway to get around a Universal Healthcare system in the US. We need one risk pool in order to keep costs down and access high. 

Don't let Big Pharma and Insurance companies keep you from doing the right thing.  We're paying your salaries and we want our tax dollars to also pay for healthcare."
